Infographics-Sunflower/Public Speaking

Updated: Mar 22, 2022

For this assignment we were to make two infographics. One be made on Canva, and the other one be our choice. This is my first one that I made on Canva, it's on how to make a sunflower. When making this I had a bunch on fun to try our all the new and different tools on the site. There was a bunch of different ways to change the theme to your liking and fun stickers too. I don't like that fact that very few images you can use have to be a "pro" or in others words have a subscription to Canva. I was able to find a way around that by looking on google. Rae helped me on that part by telling me to put "png" on the end of whatever I was searching, then when in images to go to "Tool" then click "color" and finally click "transparent." This way I was able to use the image I wanted and it wouldn't have a white background on my blue background.

For my second infographic I decided to make it on Venngage. I looked around at the different templates, I decided to do it on something I struggle at, public speaking. I picked a template that I thought could be the easiest to edit. I changed the images to match my topic and started to do my research. Venngage had a bunch of different cool stickers to use, though many of the way better looking ones you have to pay a subscription. I managed to use the ones available and have it still turn out looking good. I found a website that helped me with most of the information I included on my infographic. There was one topic that I wanted to include in my infographic that wasn't talked about in my source. So I used facts from personal experience. Once I finished writing all the information I began to change the colors to something more to my liking. Getting it on here was the thing I struggled with most. I couldn't save it as a pdf without having a subscription. I went to publish and pushed preview, then put my infographic in full screen. Once I did that I took a screenshot. Then I cropped it out and finally added it to this post.
